  • Feeling out of place..

Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.

    #ThisIsNotMe

There was this one phase in my life, where I had certain misunderstandings with my spouse.

We both had tough times and that was the 1st time where I couldn’t feel connected to myself.

Even while going on a bike ride, I couldn’t feel like am having a good time and most importantly I even forgot that am riding a motorcycle and I absolutely had zero control over the bike which could have turned into a major accident.

That’s when I found out that I needed help and I went to a therapist. Little did it help, but it gave me the space to find a gap to reconnect with myself and that was more than enough for me to find my light at the end of darkness.

Always make sure you stay connected with yourself. That’s more important.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • Power to say..

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

    #JustSayIt

“Try”. It’s more of a positive word but most of the time when someone seeks for help, we say “I’ll try”.

But, we know we can’t help them and we don’t have time to help them as we’re fighting our own fight.

So just have the courage and tell them that “No”.

    What are your thoughts?.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • Living the dream..

What were your parents doing at your age?

    #OneStepAtAAtime

Am 33 now. Am sure my sister might also have born.

My family had a poor background, both dad and mom.

They came up in life thanks to their education, sincerity, hard work and planning.

At this age both of them had a government job and were so keen on saving up for us that they sacrificed much for themselves.

At present, when I think, I don’t really think I was raised poor. I’d say I was raised right.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • Time to move..

Do you need a break? From what?

    #TimeToRun

No. I just had all my breaks recently and I personally believe this is the time I get to move, and fast.

Be it personal, career or emotional growth, this is the time to go to the next stage.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • Phases..

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

    #YouKnowLittle

What a beautiful topic to write about.

I call this, phases of life.

The way we see life differs with age and time.

The family member whom I loved the most, is no longer the same. The family member whom I hated the most, is the one who is helping us. My mother just passed away last year mid.

All these things will happen then and there in your life which will make you question your perspective about that.

The outcome of this is wisdom, that helps you keep moving in life💪🏼.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • Him..

Describe a man who has positively impacted your life.

    #PowerHouse

When I started my career as an intern back in 2015, there was this country head of our company who used to show good work ethics at the office.

I was worried if my internship would be converted to employment, and randomly one day he took me out for a walk, and we went to a nearby small tea shop, and he started to talk.

Your salary might be less, you might have a small home or a small car but that’s ok. You can earn well later and buy bigger stuff”.

The next day I was offered an employment there.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • Fearless..

What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

    #GettingScared

Well I can say unrealistic things like skydiving or holding my breath under water. But when it comes to real life am mostly not scared to do anything.

Even if something arises that induces fear, am more than willing to do it as it becomes a life lesson later.

In life, I always see myself as a student who loves to learn new things.

    Good day to you🫡.

  • My experiences with life #DailyPrompt

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

    Rejection:

When I proposed to the same girl twice in a gap of 3 years she didn’t accept me both the times.

I performed well in my 1st interview in college, even then i didn’t get selected when almost the whole of my class was selected in the interview

Rejection really teaches you a lot. What to expect, what not to expect, how to be and how not to be.

    Finance and passion:

Having a passion is mandatory. It provides your life a purpose and gives you a pivot whenever you feel low.

When your passion becomes your hobby and when you need more money to elevate to the next level and when you don’t have that, you understand where you stand in your life financially.

Then you look up from the darkness and see that small light which is your passion and you start to climb.

    Good day to you🫡.
