Do you remember life before the internet?
I born in 1991 and hence i come under the millenial category. In my POV millennials are the luckiest as our lives are more dynamic than the Gen Z and Gen alpha.
We have lived a very mediocre life, seen advancements in all industries, studied, climbed up the ladder and we’re now using it from our hard earned money.
Best example is a mobile phone. We have seen a distant relative or a neighbor own it. Borrowed it just to have a look at it. And when our dad or mom buys one in our family we felt rich.
Then we see many mobiles emerging and then the iphone. We keep a silent aim and desire in mind to own it one day. Fast forward to 2023 and we already have a couple in the family.
I still remember using a Nokia N73 Music Edition without a sim card as my dad didn’t buy me one due to college😃. I keep it at home and will be in college hostel.
When i come home i put my mom’s sim card in then i recharge for ₹20 ($1.6) which comes me a day of unlimited internet and rest is history😁.
As millennials we really are lucky that we have cherished a great life which has become an awesome memory in our mind that our children are hugely missing out or in other terms we fear to give them.
